I'm Leon and I just started kayakking a few weeks ago. I'm from Belgium, Antwerp and got a kayak club not far from me. This past weeks my buddy and I were focussing on learning the kayak roll. I think we are getting the hang of it. I'm also a little bit of a filmmaker so I make videos from our little trips and trainings.
Here are 2 of my videos I made (I'm the blond hair guy with the green kayak, and also not the one who is doing flips lol):
As you can see in the "KAYAK ROLLS" video I have a problem when I get up after rolling, I also have some forward speed. Not only am I turning but I also go forward. Also a problem, one who you can't see on the video is that my right foot is getting num when I'm kayakking for a while. My left foot not much ( I don't know if this is coincidense or not). I did rip my ligaments 3 months ago on my right foot, so maybe that has something to do with it?
