Does anyone know or keep records of how many paddlers have completed the Bass Strait crossing?

Lots and lots and I think there have been so many the count of how many was lost years ago , there was an I formal log book at Hogan Is that many filled in bug I'm sure it's not a true reflection of how many paddlers have done it .

I recall someone keeping a log, maybe in Tasmania. Though I never thought to log my trip when finished. Despite it been crossed a few times do not underestimate. I know of at least two attempts where a decision to can crossing plans was made. The best way is to allow yourself enough time to weather it out. And even then, you cannot expect flat seas.

I wondering if more people have submitted Everest (4,500ish people - 7,600 times) than paddled Bass...I am guessing yes (ie more up Everest)
