Hi, new to the forum and saying hello from Canada. I've been kayaking for a number of years now, starting with an 11 ft rec yak, which I paddled over many adventures and camping trips, then adding a 13 ft angling kayak which has been brilliant for lake fishing, and more recently a WD Tempest 170 for longer outings. Joined the forum to read and learn, pick up advice and insight, and to share some stories.
I love the feeling on being on the water, whether it's peaceful gliding over smooth waters or fighting heavier chop and surfing waves. I'm a fairly avid outdoorsman and the kayak is another vector for accessing the backcountry and seeing the beauty of Canada's terrific scenery from a different perspective.
Cheers and happy paddling!
