Well Hello everyone I see things have been very quiet on here. Well finally near completion of my SOF frame the size is 5.65 meters (18'-6" ) width is
50cm (19.5" ) height at front of cockpit 255mm (10" )height at rear of cockpit 125mm (nearly 5" ) it will be interesting to paddle
main frame WRC ribs are bamboo and the odd piece of pine tossed in fro floor boards (4mm thick ) weight of frame only is 10.75kg. about 23.5lbs

That is beautiful Peter&Ro. I wouldn't have a tenth of the skills to even begin something like that!

What is the state of the market on the best skin material now days? Oiled canvas was the original 'modern' skin right? (after the Inuit animal skins of course).
