Looks great, but I'm now curious what the design fault in the R40 was, as I have seen some on the second hand market recently. And how has this design issue been rectified in the wanderer?

Basically volume ..too much in the R40 creating a stability issue and rectified in the Wanderer and well too .I also softened the chine's instead of the sharp edges of the R40 also helping the stability but really the real test for any one is too put it in the water and have a paddle ..the only and best way to prove it .

I think she's dad,  can't wait until I feel mine float.
I know she'll be as water tight as boat.
I'm glad that she look tight on the aft.
My logic suggests pressure hence less bow wave during a blast.
Her normal days here will be a 28 click route.
24 ks flat with a short section of water sprout.
Here's too stormy days,  to be honest first 2 months will be no seat,  feet on seat position bilge,  bum on deck,  swimming a lot,  knowing that balance improvement as such is a lot quicker a way to improve paddle blade pressure during sprints.
Like when a ship makes way in the channel and route;  what route,  going that way!
Looking forward to her.
